Fasting Makes You Crabby

"...attacks in Baghdad rising by 22 percent in the first three weeks of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan"
- Yahoo! News, Thursday, October 19

We can relate, really.

"Conservative" Christianity

...as the liberals view it.

Simply hilarious.

My favourite rant:
Aren't you all entitled to your half-assed musings on the divine? You've thought about eternity for twenty-five minutes and think you've come to some interesting conclusions.

I love the phrase "Internet-assembled philosophy". Sounds like a good number of liberals I know.

Remember to pray for our Pope

Please call me a Pascendist

I can read the encyclicals of Leo XIII and understand their message. But I can little judge whether these are teachings for all time, or merely the prudential judgments of the Supreme Pontiff, to be followed until one of greater wisdom succeeds to the throne or the conditions of the time change so as to require new judgments.

About Leo XIII. Rerum Novarum is fantastic and spot on - came years before communism overtook Russia. Too bad nobody heeded the warnings.

*sigh* so much has happened in the past months. Keep on praying for our Pope. I can't imagine the weight of his responsibilities.
